28 Drum Rhythm Exercises in Eighth-Note Triad Patterns

These 28 beginner drumming exercises apply Group 3 of the fundamental drumming patterns to develop a comprehensive rhythmic vocabulary in the quarter and eighth-note subdivisions. The exercises cover all possible rhythmic drum beats using quarter and eighth-note combinations. They are created by using quarter notes as the foundation and then replacing them with eighth notes as indicated by the pattern. Four sets of practice routines are designed to develop all limbs equally, forming the basis for many drum grooves.
