The basic limb coordination group 4 drumming exercises cover all two-way linear coordination patterns. It is recommended that you master these before moving on. The skills developed here are utilized in the following exercises to establish four-way linear coordination by combining the two-way linear coordination exercises. These exercises will further enhance coordination and timing in the eighth-note subdivisions. They are arranged so you can focus on one pattern at a time and practice all the possible combinations for each pattern.
