- Tempo Adjust: This option allows you to change the metronome tempo.
- Start practice: Click the Start button to start the metronome and practice the exercise.
After clicking Start, a short delay allows you to get set before the metronome starts. The metronome starts with a one-measure count-in to indicate the exercise tempo. The duration of the exercise is preset, and the metronome will automatically stop at the end of the exercise.
Drumming Practice Tips
- Review the exercise status, scores, previous assessment, and comments to refresh your memory and focus your attention.
- Review tutor assessment and comments to align with expectations. This is only available when a drum tutor has assessed your performance.
- Study the exercise notation and use the drum notation key when necessary.
- Once the metronome starts, practice continuously and uninterrupted until the metronome stops, even when you make mistakes.
- While practicing, pay attention to your performance's timing, dynamics, and accuracy.
Poor drumming technique may lead to physical injuries. It is recommended that you seek the services of a drum tutor to assist with drumming techniques, drum setup, grip, and other physical demands.
Once the metronome stops, an assessment dialog will pop up to log your performance assessment.
